For Career Counselors and Certified Consultants

For Career Counselors and Certified Consultants

A structured execution layer for clients between sessions. Designed to complement assessment-based practice, not replace it.

The gap between session and action

Most career counselors and certified consultants work with clients who arrive with assessment results and a thoughtful conversation. Then the session ends. The client goes home. Without structured between-session work, the client returns no further along, and the next session starts where the last one stopped.

Counselors absorb that gap by improvising assignments, lending books, sketching custom worksheets, or compressing more activity into the next session. The work is real but it’s invisible, unbillable, and not the highest use of a counselor’s time.

A structured between-session layer

The companion workbook gives counselors a structured set of worksheets clients can work through between sessions. The Career Remake Assessment routes each client to one of eight archetypes. The archetype maps to specific tools matched to that situation. Clients arrive at the next session with concrete progress, specific decisions to discuss, and questions that can only come from doing the work.

The framework is designed to complement existing assessment practice, not displace it. Counselors keep their diagnostic instruments and methodologies. The framework picks up after the assessment, where most counselors have to improvise.

Why counselors use it

The framework gives counselors a shared vocabulary for what stage of work the client is in. The eight archetypes capture common situations cleanly, including career changers, mid-career pivoters, returners after caregiving years, and clients adapting to AI-driven role changes. Worksheets can be assigned individually or as a complete pathway. Sessions move faster because the client arrives prepared. Counselors recover hours that were going into custom homework design.
