The Career Remake Assessment

What it is
The Career Remake Assessment is a 24-statement diagnostic that places you in one of eight career archetypes. Each archetype is a different starting situation, and each comes with its own sequence of tools to work, in order.
Most career assessments tell you who you are. The Career Remake Assessment tells you what to do next, in what order, with what worksheet.
How it works
Twenty-four short statements. Each one rated 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). Three statements map to each of the eight archetypes. The archetype with your highest combined score is your starting point.

The eight archetypes
Each archetype is a real situation career changers find themselves in. The summaries below give you the shape of each one. The full profile (tagline, core emotion, biggest risk, priority tools, routing sequence) is in the companion workbook.
Survivor. In pain at work. The exit is the priority.
Stagnator. Not in crisis, but stopped moving. Looks like a Survivor on the surface, needs different tools.
Escapee. Already out. Rebuilding direction from scratch.
Pivoter. Knows the destination. Doesn’t yet know the path to get there.
Investigator. Curious about what’s possible. Working out fit before committing.
Builder. On the right track. Looking to accelerate, deepen, or leverage what’s working.
Returner. Returning to the workforce after time away (caregiving, parental leave, health, sabbatical).
Adapter. Facing AI- or automation-driven change. Repositioning for what’s next.
The Career Remake Assessment is the only career diagnostic with dedicated Returner and Adapter pathways. These are the two fastest-growing career-change populations of 2026 and beyond.
